Description and theory

G#madd9 is equivalent to A flat minor added 9th. G#madd9 can be seen as an G# minor triad with an added ninth (A#) and is comparable to G#madd2.

Chord structure

The chord consists of four notes. The notes represent the root, minor third, perfect fifth and major ninth intervals. Notice that the seventh isn't included and also that the fifth sometimes can be omitted.
