B chords

B is generally preferred over its enharmonic counterpart Cb in practical music notation.

Although Cb major is theoretically valid, it is rarely used because it introduces awkward spellings such as Fb and Cb in places where musicians more naturally expect E and B. As a result, B and Bm are far more common than Cb and Cbm in everyday music notation.
