Although its enharmonic equivalents B# or Dbb are theoretically valid in certain advanced harmonic situations, they are rarely used as chord roots because musicians more naturally expect C. As a result, C and Cm are far more common than B#, B#m, Dbb or Dbbm in everyday music notation.
