Description and theory

C#dim is usually played as one of three movable shapes depending on the most fitting position on the fretboard.

The chord consists of three notes. The notes represent the root, minor third and diminished fifth intervals.

C#dim is an abbreviation for C# diminished. A shorter abbreviation sometimes used is C#º.

The notes that the C#dim chord consists of are C#, E and G.
