Description and theory

Badd2 can be seen as a B triad with an added second (C#) and is comparable to Badd9. It is usually played as an open chord or as one of the possible movable shapes. It's seldom played as a barre chord.

Chord structure

The chord consists of four notes. The notes represent the root, second, major third and perfect fifth intervals. Notice that the fifth sometimes can be omitted.
