Cm6 is usually played as a movable shape. It can be played in open positions, although there are no options with simple fingerings. A third alternative is to play it as a barre chord (although the pictured barre shape doesn't give much room for the fingers).

The chord consists of four notes. The notes represent the root, minor third, perfect fifth and major sixth. Notice that the fifth is sometimes omitted.
