Description and theory

C#madd2 is equivalent to D flat minor added 2nd. C#madd2 can be seen as a C# minor triad with an added second (D#) and is comparable to C#madd9. It is usually played as a barre chord or movable shape (although the pictured barre shape doesn't give much room for the fingers).

Chord structure

The chord consists of four notes. The notes represent the root, second, minor third and perfect fifth intervals. Notice that the fifth sometimes can be omitted.
