Chord names

The G#7 is a dominant chord. G#7/D#, G#7/C and G#7/F# are inversions of the chord. G#7 is the same as G sharp 7th and equivalent to A flat 7th, but their names change depending on the key they are played in.

The notes that the G#7 chord consists of are G#, C, D#, F#.
To get G#9 add A#.
To get G#maj7 replace F# with G.
