Description and theory

Gsus2 can be seen as a G major triad with the third (B) replaced by the second (A). It is usually played as an open chord or as a barre chord.

The chord consists of three notes. The notes represent the root, second and perfect fifth intervals.

Gsus2 is an abbreviation for G suspended second.
