Description and theory

Gbmadd9 is equivalent to F sharp minor added 9th. Gbmadd9 can be seen as a Gb minor triad with an added ninth (Ab) and is comparable to Gbmadd2.

Chord structure

The chord consists of four notes. The notes represent the root, minor third, perfect fifth and major ninth intervals. Notice that the seventh isn't included and also that the fifth sometimes can be omitted.
