Description and theory

Gbadd2 is equivalent to F sharp added 2nd. Gbadd2 can be seen as a Gb triad with an added second (Ab) and is comparable to Gbadd9. It is usually played as one of the possible movable shapes.

Chord structure

The chord consists of four notes. The notes represent the root, second, major third and perfect fifth intervals. Notice that the fifth sometimes can be omitted.
